YAY finally an entry to pour down my love for yaoi manga! well in this post i'm aiming to talk about my favorite mangaka and yaoi manga-

What I think about yaoi:
oh god this is so something someone who knows me even remotely wouldn' ask. because even to ppl who don't know me so well, it is VERY obvious that i'm a freak for it. XD I don't last more than 2 days without it. and i only even go for days (2 days that is) without yaoi when i've got a test that i haven't studied for. or worse an exam 0_0. so yeh, yaoi = love = life LOL. I guess u could call me an addict XD
So i keep saying yaoi yaoi yaoi, doesn't mean i love JUST yaoi. I'm an all around BL fan basically. i love all rankings of boys love: slash (implied BL) --> shounen-ai (soft BL) --> yaoi (hardcore). And it doesn't mean anything and everything i love has to be of hardcore ranking.
infact some of my favourite stories barely contain any explicity. and my favourite manga of all time is not even yaoi, it's shonen-ai!

My choice of a manga is based on:
1. storyline
2. the art
I Like any theme except for angst or horror (b/c it doesn't scare me) and angst together with romance (god i cannot stand these)
But i mostly enjoy: comedy, school life, supernatural, drama, adventure
and I stay away from student teacher romances b/c i've gotten really sick of those (unless if it's a oneshot in some other manga i've downloaded) and Shota (b/c i don't support it)

Advice to those who don't know what i'm on about:
yaoi is boyxboy and i've never NOT felt comfortable abt it since the day i heard abt it b/c the first question i asked my frnds who intro'd it to me was "hmm...never taught abt that possibility.....btw were do they put 'it' ?"
So do try it because u'll never know! XD and of course spread the love if u do like it! and if u don't, for the love of god don't bag it.

....and i'm not really proud of sayin that but god u jus can't help it when u get weeks-long breaks in a ROW!
But yes, the scenario here or rather what SEEMS like the scenario or whatever i know of it is that:
there is a war-like situation in Sri-lanka and students in Tamil Nadu are protesting for the Indian govt. to give a damn about it. So they'd been striking to close down all colleges/universities until the problem is resolved (?) and in their attempts for attention, apparently, one law student burnt himself in protest. Yeh, apparently that's how nasty it got. I mean it all started with th eLaw kids and then spread to the engineering kids and then finally the Meds. But i doubt if the latter two groups are protesting with the same passion or even protestin to begin with.
While maybe a fraction of the students are protesting for the 'cause' of being of use to other nations the majority are jus joinin in the crowd so they could get days of RANDOMLY.
      WHICH JUST SUCKS when u're a med student who's college started LATER than all other Med Schools in the country and are already BEHIND in lectures b/c of the rains n floods. =_=:
PLUS i miss school! It was jus startin to get fun in both the learnin and the social aspect. Still, hey i ain't complainin as long as this goes on for the said mimimun of a week. coz we CANNOT afford to miss more than it.
INFACT, the Meds from our college still don't go days off if only our seniors hadn't protested outside the college for "fair treatment"

So, basically i'm on a vacation which i got no clue until when. it's declarement of an "indefinite leave" as they say. Well, I'm GLAD in a way since i can CATCH-UP on all the work i missed out! XD and seeing that we got a physio test comin up on the 28th it does help!
Still, too many holidays is startin to get me slack n jus wish it'd end.

Today, i orderd my glasses (to stop me from strainin when using my PC and for protection from sunlight,etc.) and coz it's freakin cool and i wanted one to get me feeling even more nerdy! and with the frames i'd hav an all-nerd facade XD - braces, glasses, white-coats, badges and ID card. it's NOOB TIME! XD
AND i got a hair-cut with a fringe, which hasn't got annoying YET. =_=

OMG thanks jazz for gettin me into CAN'T GET BACK coz it's CAN'T GET IT OUTTA MY HEAD!!! XD it's probabaly like the 30th time i'm listenin to it in two days! it's always like this with w-inds......non-stop once i get into them somehow~

and that's what I feel like today. humans are flawed fools in letting emotions take control and torment them.
Now that I've said something that absolutely makes no sense since I haven't specially given you a context to fit it in...I shall move on to blahing about my day.

firstly, *cries* our Community Med posting is drawing to an end which only means that we'll be getting BACK to the anat-physio-biochem HELL soon. and CM is actually really fun for those who KNOW what it means to participate and actually do work in class and give a fuck about the education their parents are affording for them.

*sighs* i got a CM test tomorrow, better get to studying for that. since given so much free time during this posting i've done like less half the amount my usual studying- probably b/c "i'm giving myself a break"

but no. i had a day with PLENTY of time to afford on study. But i didn't use it. My excuse? It's human nature to wait til cram-time.

OK, an update for those who need it....

I've been in India enrolled in Med School for the past 6 months (4 months of which i've actually spent as a student). Med is good, i'm liking it finally. and it's a LOT OF WORK if u don't do ur part everyday. yes, EVERY DAY. Anyways, if i had to speak abt my bewildering experiences from day 1 of my course, i could write a book abt it and sell it for hot cash. No, i actually mean that. My life was once so boring that I could not tell the difference b/w a monday and tuesday since i did pretty much the same damn thing. But here, there is ALWAYS something OUT-OF-ORDER (and i DON'T jus mean toilets) everyday that everyday is a different story. So, currently, i'm at my 5th month in as a first year and we're in our community medicine posting were we go to a village, collect data, do stats on them and present it- community analysis to help their resource facilities. It's probably the first thing that's made me feel less homesick.

Now, for Today and what exactly the title of this post holds...

I was in the corridor talkin to my friend and there were noises from our classroom. We proceed to the said location and there is a MONKEY IN THE CLASSROOM (1). NO, i'm NOT using an adjective to describe anyone/anything. There was an ACTUAL MONKEY UNDER OUR TABLE. so we view the show while two teachers stand clueless as to what the next step maybe. there were a total abt five students viewing the scene eagerly expecting the staff to cancel class for today with a reason...
"Class is canceled b/c there is a monkey in the classroom"
I'm pretty sure that sounds like a genuinely professional believable excuse...=_=;
So i watched......then it moved...the monkey i mean (DUH)
and as i traced it's trail i remembered that it was moving to the table with my friend's and my books on it. OH GREAT. it picked up my pencil case...and walked to the window seal....it bit my pencil case...not food it UN-FREAKING-ZIPPED my pencil case went through it's contents....it took out a rubber, a sharpener, and pen and bit into them and discarded them as soon as the thought hit NOT FOOD. one of the students threw a biscuit it's way (note: wasn't a very good throw since half of the biscuit landed on the floor) and the monkey's reaction i'm not picking that up bitch. i expect to be treated better than having food thrown at! (2)

anyway, my distress elevating at the fact that a monkey is violating my stationary with its mouth and hands the teacher decides to take a video of it all for tea-time...my thoughts

anyways, the monkey left and i decided to wash n keep only the important things in my pencil case.
and that was a major event of the day, since u don't see a monkey in ur classroom everyday...really.

NB: (1) it was more of a practical/discussion hall in the size of a classroom
        (2) the monkey probably didn take the biscuit since it must've expected coconuts and toasted peanuts.
